Pilates Teacher and Fitness Trainer for a 5 star, A-list resort spa in Turks and Caicos

This is a 2 year contract (nothing shorter, sorry) that will require relocating to the Caribbean for most of the year, and living in staff housing at the resort. This is an actual contracted job with paid work visa, paid flights, salary, commission, and tips, benefits, annual leave with paid flights, etc.

  • Candidate must have:
    Internationally recognized Pilates and Fitness certifications (PMA and ACE, for example).

  • This position will involve some gym training, so you must be great at both that and Pilates.

  • At least 5 years teaching experience, with references.

  • Certified by a well-known program to teach full Pilates system, all levels, classes and privates.

  • Certified to teach TRX® (or willingness to get the training).

  • Current passport and ability to travel.

  • This position will ideally start mid-January 2020 (very soon).

The Pilates Movement

A boutique Pilates Studio located on East 68th Street for 10 years is searching for a part time Pilates Instructor. This a wonderful opportunity for apparatus certified Pilates instructors to work along side an experienced, non competitive and fun staff! Must be comfortable teaching privates, duets and small tower classes with 4 students. Competitive compensation, health insurance for full time employees & continuing education opportunities in a relaxed environment. 

Hours available: 

  • Tuesdays 7am-1pm

  • Thursdays 7am-1pm

  • Saturdays 9:30am-2:15pm

  • Sundays 10am-4pm

More hours can be given if you're interested and available

Salary depends on experience and can range from $32-$50 per hour depending.
