ON THE FLOOR ASSIGNMENT
Keep Time. Time your teaching this week. For each session you teach, mark the time it takes to teach an Entire beginner session Including Mat, Reformer, and Cadillac.
Q. What did you discover? Are you keeping within the guidelines of ~30 minutes Reformer/ ~ 15 minutes Mat/ ~ 10 minutes other equipment? What is your strength and your weakness with respect to timing at this point in your training.
Q. While teaching this week demonstrate quickly getting into Pull Up on the Wunda Chair. Did it help? What did you learn while demonstrating?
Consider this statement: “Tightness in one part of the body is often matched by weakness on the opposing side.”
In your response, first assume the statement is true. include the exercise name, the difficulty you observe, the body part you believe to be tight and where the weakness might be.
Finally, state whether you think this the statement is actually true for this particular client and this particular situation.

Q: SWAP TIME! Often in a studio you will teach someone else’s client. This week we will swap our programs and you will teach a peer’s week three (3) homework to a client. Teach the entire program design from beginning to end to a client. Choose a program design here.
