ON THE FLOOR ASSIGNMENT
Q1. Timing is Everything: Teaching Drill - Developing your work from last week when you worked your Reformer from front to back and back to front, each transition should take you no more than 5 full seconds. Practice counting in your head - 1 - one-thousand, 2 - one thousand, 3.....etc. for each transition. Share with the group your results.
Q2. Full Intermediate Routine: This week at least once run your current full Intermediate program without looking at any notes. When it’s over - check your card. Note what you forgot or where you tripped up. Share with the group what exercises you missed and which ones you struggle with personally.
Q: How vs. What: The tone, volume and modulation of your voice is even more important than the words you use. This week is Vocal exercise week. You will complete and upload your audio file to Canvas.

Q. When actually teaching, the words you want to amplify are the words that convey action or quality. Practice accentuating the action and quality words so that they are the words that are HEARD when you teach. Give an example of a teaching cue for a single exercise and write it out using upper case for the important words.
Example: Single Leg Circles - "Circle the leg ACROSS, around and UP".
